Goodbye S4, hello new toy

For the second time in my life, today I left the S4 ownership club. Gave it in as part ex against my brand new VW Tiguan R-Line Tech 2.0 petrol 230ps.

Obviously this hasn't got the power the S4 had but already worked out being a turbo you have to drive it differently to the the supercharged S4.

On the plus side it will handle all the cr@p that comes with 2 kids and 2 German Shepherds, plus against a lot of SUV's it's not exactly ugly. Already changed a few bits and more to come, but for now goodbye Audi-Sport.net

Had a great 3 days in the new car and then it broke down with 79 miles on the clock!

Keeps stalling, so back with VW. They've given me a brand new golf estate to cart the family and dogs around for now, such is life!

Part exchanged the S4 as that was having probs, only to have probs on the new car, at least this has a warranty.

On the plus side I'm not filling their golf up with any petrol so the round trip from Epsom to Littlehampton will be on them, not that they know that yet.

Then I'll be seeing what they might consider as an appropriate 'we're really sorry'.

I have a set of their £500 running boards (I paid £150) to be fitted, normally 2hrs of labour, might just drop them off on Tuesday and tell them to fit them and I expect to be charged sod all!
