Hi,
Does anyone know the easiest way to get to and remove the vibration dampening crank pulley? before I strip the front out to get to it!.
Thanks

Ah what an idiot! Sorry it's a 2007 3.0 tdi in a a4 avant. Cheers

Sorry it's on a 2007 3.0tdi
I put my A5 into the service position when mine failed and I had to replace it. I changed the water pump while I was there so made more sense to have as much room as possible.

Service mode is remove front bumper unbolt crash bar having fitted some longer bolts pull front panel forward approx 60mm but you can leave all fluids in to help working on belts tensioner thermostat or water pump
