Audi A6 Avant S-Line 3.0TFSI
£7200
Using the same supercharged engine as the B8 Audi S4, this has well over 400bhp (442PS in the dyno plots) thanks to engine and gearbox software changes from MRC Tuning done in 2017.
Aside from this modification, it's an otherwise standard car so retains its standard refinements which include:
People familiar with the 3.0TFSI engine will know that there was an Audi recall for thermostat and water pump - these are shown as done in the service book (see photos). I confirmed this with the Audi main dealer in Truro that did most of the work for the original owner, and they also advised that it'd had the radiator mounting recall done too. Since all of this, I've also had the thermostat replaced again due to mileage-related failure - along with the fragile water pipe going into this, so it's piece of mind for the next owner that this is resolved!
In the last 10,000 miles it's had the following new parts in addition to standard servicing:
Selling as swapping cars around so the wife can have the family car, and this is too big for her. I'll be sad to see this go!
As it's a common question... It's no more/less economical in normal usage than it was before the remap. Typically I'll get about 27mpg over a tank, as my commute gets stuck in stop/start traffic most evenings. On longer trips it'll do over 30mpg, 32-34mpg if you take it steady.
