B6 S4 Back box removal cost

I've got an B6 S4 and want to hear more of the 4.2 V8, I've had a quote for the removal of my back boxes, just two straight pipes from the centre resonator out to the rear bumper....£500

I thought that was a tad on the high side personally what do you guys think? I was thinking more like £250 max.
