Alternator code

Hi guys please help
I'm trying to avoid the expense of a new alternator and I have been told this sticker shows which alternator was fitted when the car was born. Can anyone tell me which code it is please?

There are plenty of second hand alternators available on Fleabay. You could pick one of these up and a new regulator pack. There is every chance it's just the brushes/ regulator on your alternator. problem on the V6'S though the alternator is not readily accessible though it's a front off job.

Top man thanks for the info. TPS quoted my local garage £350 which is bananas. I was told there are physical differences between them making them specific to each engine set up?? I don't know how accurate that info is though. I didn't want to buy one off eBay and then find it won't fit.

Oh another question please. Is the regulator accessible in situ?
