Going to fit a dash cam at the weekend and found a few threads which seem pretty good and have given me a few pointers. Cant decide whether to hard wire it or run a cable from the rear 12v, push up under the centre console trims, under the glovebox, then under the trim where the door is and push under the roof lining.

What have others done? Is it easy enough to do? My worry is trying to get the cable under the roof lining without it causing it to sag.

Plenty of decent BlackVue and other makes how to’s and fitting guides on here.

Headlining won’t sag its a single moulded part.

Brilliant to know about the headlining. That how to guides look great, will come in handy. I was thinking it would probably be easier using the hardwire kit as its less cable to run.
