Fault Code 18057 issue

Hi All
On my 2004 A4 Avant Diesel 2.5 V6 the ABS Light has come on and the ESP warning light too, scanned it and come up with the code 18057:

18057/P1649/005705 - Powertrain Data Bus: Missing Message from ABS Controller
Possible Symptoms

• Malfunction Indicator Light (MIL) ON

Possible Causes

• Fault Code(s) stored in Brake Electronics (J104)
• Communication Error with Brake Electronics (J104)

Possible Solutions

• Check Brake Electronics (J104) for Fault Codes
• Check Communication with Brake Electronics (J104)
  • See Measuring Value Blocks (MVB)

Any ideas on the possible casuses of this?

Have you checked the abs for fault codes?

Also check the main connector is seated correctly and clean.

I believe there were some issues with an earth wire around the abs unit on some models. So worth checking the earth wires/points.
