Brakes grinding on cold start

Hi folks,

When I pull my A5 (2016 Petrol) off the drive and brake, I can hear a grinding noise. I have taken it to Audi main dealers who tell me that there is nothing wrong with the brakes but it just doesn't sit right with me. Once the car is warmed up I cannot hear the grinding.

Should I be concerned ?. Audi told me it was tyre feathering (but that sounds like BS)

It might just be a slight rust layer on the discs being rubbed off by the first brake application of the day,I get it with mine and its nothing to fret over IMHO.

Surface rust...perfect weather for it and absolutely nothing to worry about.

I have noticed it more on my Audi vs. my VW though
