Hi everyone, was in the proccess of replacing my seat belt stalk and was surprised to find out that the stalk itself isn't held in place with an M10 spline bolt like the seat frame/runners themselves. I'm sure I read somewhere they were M10 spline. Tried to make something work but no joy and refixed the seat for now ( got to clean years of carp from under the seat at least) Am I correct in thinking it will be an m8 spline bit I need. Cheers in advance.

Get an m8 to m16 bit box set sure you’ll find the right one, need it for other jobs on the 8p as well

That's handy to know, my drivers seat reclines forward but won't slide forward when trying to let rear seat passengers in and out.
I was wondering what tool would be needed to remove it and look for problems, so this could be useful.
