HELP!! upgrading speakers

Hi guys and gals, i currently have a bose sound system but ive got a pioneer stereo and 1000w amp and i need advice on to which speakers i shall buy. Now ive got a budety of no more than 160 quid for 4, it may not sound a lot but i am a student! i was looking at the alpine ones....

I haven't replaced the speakers in my car for a while, but my experience with Vibe is that they aren't much good, exaggerated claims of performance etc. I've always had good experiences with Alpine, in a toss up between the 2 I would back the Alpine option.

I’d go for alpine all day long. I’ve had both alpine and vibe in the past and can say alpine are far better speakers. They have mush more detail and dynamic range and will swing with that size amp.

It’s a matter of opinion as always with audio equipment. But as we’re only discussing either alpine or vibe, alpine all day long.
