service warning

Hi all, i have a face lift 2008 A3 is i have had it serviced last year but have only done 4000 mile in it this year , since the service , anyway the service warning has come on again , my question is , is there a way i can turn it off without the use of a unit, i have looked on you tube but how it says do it on there just doesnt work,

You can reset your service within Vcd's and if i mind it's in the SRI when you start up Vcd's . If you don't have a cable either cjeck out map on here and see if a member clise to you would do it usually a few beer tokens or you could take to an indy garage and pay them to change .
