Hey all, First post!

So I just got an Audi A3, 59 Reg 1.9l 5 speed. Absolutely love the car! Just one issue, No bluetooth/SatNav and its a must for me..

I just got back from Halfords to look for an android in car entertainment system but they said to me its going to cost 549 for the unit itself, 120 for a facia thing and 30 to fit it.. Thought that cant be right!

Are they any units out there that are just plug and play? I cant be bothered with the rest of it until i get some time off work..

Cheers

J

Thanks, I think I will. The Audi is pretty basic right now but plan on doing a few things (new lights, low profile spoiler, rims etc) So maybe on here alot looking for advice / inspiration as I plan on doing it all myself :)

Welcome - you've come to the right place if you want to lighten the wallet.

Take a look at this: http://xtrons.co.uk/audi/audi-a3-s3...dvd-player-custom-fit-for-audi-a3-s3-rs3.html

It's an Android unit, 8-Core and is feature packed. It gets a favourable write up on here but for that prices you can't go wrong. It's plug n play if you have Bose. If not there there is a couple of wires that need to be changed.

Don't bother with the factory Audi Sat-Nav (RNS-E), Noah used it to keep the animals on the Arc entertained.

That unit looks bang on. Exactly what I'm looking for, I dont have the Bose system so will need to change those wires. Got any links for those wires?

Thanks!
