FECKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKK

Well thats his first minor prang in the car out of the way....

Saw this on my local site - not want you would want to do to your £850k car!

That's going to cost a few £'s to fix!

I wonder how long it's going to take to get the parts?

He probably drove it into the back of somebody, and offered said somebody a new car and 'expenses' instead of insurance

I wonder what the insurance would cost on one of those? I bet the hike in cost after an accident would be more than my car's worth!

I dont think you would get a fully comp cover for a car like that as such

Probably just a third pary cover - wouldnt like to see the excess

Don't mean to sound intrusive but are you smoking crack?

Do you think someone would part with over 3/4 of a million quid and then not get fully comp?
The Veyron would probably be covered by a specialist insurer such as a maritime broker, used to insuring large yachts and the like. Direct line wouldn't cover it.

Do you remember the Top Gear race between the Veyron and the plane when Clarkson phoned Norwich Union to "quote him happy"? Twenty minutes on the line for them to tell him they don't insure it.

My scummy traders policy excluded anything group 19 or over lol, it also mentioned specific cars i.e subaru etc wonder if they'l be updated to 'no bugatti veyrons'

because the body is such a complex construction they have to go back to the factory for any repairs. i bet the bill for that little lot is going to be over 100k.

remember each car, although costing "only" 800k actually costs 5 million to build. Bugatti sold them at a loss as a flagship vehicle to show what they could achieve.

i'd expect they are pretty keen to get the engine and drive train into more mainstream models to try to recoupe some of the development costs

It apparently hit a Vauxhall Astra, whilst doing approx. 100mph, and the driver was renting it @£20k per day!

Where can i rent a Veyron for £20 a day???

OK, a mate of mine who lives down that way has just informed me that his mate has picked up a piece of broken CarbonFibre from this Veyron at the accident spot... wonder if he will ebay it for a few £££'s or keep it, as that's about as near as owning a bit of Veyron he's likely to get!
