Need help engine management and flashing coil light

Driving yesterday and engine managment light came on with flashing coil light. Had a look this morn and managment light was still on but after 10 mins coil light came back on flashing any ideas?

Get the codes read. what general area are you in? someone maybe near you who can read your fault codes

Im in chester. Was tryin to get a rough idea than go to a garage and get told i need x y z when i only need x if you get me.

That's my point, there maybe forum members on here living in or near chester with a code reader and might well happily plug in and check your car out for free (or a beer, or a cuppa!)
