S3 Intercooler

Going to have a Stage 2+ Remap and need to replace my stock intercooler, would something like this be okay?

I know it says "Stage 1" but surely if its better than stock it should be sufficient for Stage 2+ as many are still running the stock intercooler?

There is no need for upgraded ic for stage 2+ but sure it helps a lot!
Since that cooler was developed om mkv gti i guess it's similar in size to the oem s3 ic.
Stage 2 cooler has a thicker core and it would be better. Airtec stage 2, peron, pro alloy, wagner are all proven coolers with the bigger core.

Yes you need the stage 2 Airtec as it will be fit and forget. I had Awesome fit one to our TTS a month ago. It was a hot day and my bum dyno felt the car kept pulling well all the way home. Better than going up the M6 in the morning.
I am contemplating the Wagner for my S3

Okay thanks guys, think I will go for that, my current intercooler is cracked and tbh the price difference between replacing it with a stock one or aftermarket won't be that much
