Any ideas my head is sore from scratching..

Just bought a very tidy A4 Cab 2.6 auto. Met Green/beige leather etc.

The car has only 60,500 on the clock and seems to have been used rarely over the past 12 months. The Auto gearbox is having a bit of a wobbler. Initially when starting off a judder could be felt, but now I am having difficulty with the autogearchange itself. On browsing information on the net it appears the car needs a good change of gearbox oil. Any ideas?

I live in Cawood, near Selby/York any ideas of a good honest garage for the beast. Also bought a new hood, need a fitter. Sorry, bought the hood off E-bay, brand spanking new and for £300 what a bargain...

find an auto box specialist, oil can be the cause of lots of wierd symptoms

You might want to post in the B6 section as your car is a B6 A4 and they might have a better idea.

What I missed was it is a 1995 model, of which I beleive is a B5. Having spoken to Audi UK they say it is a very early one. Keep you posted.

That was based on the coupe platform mate. Not an A4.

Totally different.

Ahh Audi 80/90 then, you are still in the wrong section and Audi dont know what they are talking about.

Ok it gets clearer, so the A4 convertible came out in 2000, or so is that right. ? Which is obviously why the front end differs. I am sure I will get there in the end.
