Oil Pick Up Pipe Question

Hi guys,

Car's going in for a service, cam follower change and oil pick up pipe change to the revised part. My only problem being my local garage aren't able to/having trouble sourcing the part.

When they phone Audi and quote them with the part number for the revised pick up pipe: 06F115251B. The garage say the number corresponds with a different part, the old style pipe, and they can't get any sense out of them.

My question to anyone who has installed the revised pipe is where did you purchase it from? Any help appreciated.

Anyone? Phoned my local Audi dealership and they can't confirm weather the part is the revised pipe or not and will not accept returns if it turns out to be the old style pipe.

Try phoning your local TPS (Trade part specialists). My local one is 100% better than the doughnuts in the parts office at the local Audi dealer. They can usually tell you if the part number you give them has been superseded as well, so you'll soon know if there is a newer pipe or not!

AKS are fitting me one in a couple of weeks, perhaps give them a ring and see if they can order you one and drop it in the mail?

Audi said the part number above I gave them had not been superseeded. Does this mean it is the revised part?
