Rear beams

Looking at the rear beam it looks like the NSR wheel has hit a kerb or such at some point. That would explain why it feels somewhat unstable then lol.

What are my options? Are all b5 rear beams the same? Can I fit a better spec one? How much am I likely to be looking at?

They're all the same.

Whichever you buy, get yourself new bushes from the dealer, 8D0501541A for the heavy duty ones, as the old ones will almost certainly be shafted.

Thanks mate, what kind of money do they go for? Is that the bush where it mounts to the body?

I was going to have a look at the Meyle HD ones?

I'd just buy the Genuine ones. I've got bored of cheaper bits failing after far too short a time.

Genuine is about £30 a side, the Meyles are about £20.

No idea what a beam goes for, probably best finding one in a local breakers or whatever? Theres a few on ebay around the £100 mark, but that does feel a little steep
