Wiper reset???

Is there a way to reset the sweep of the wipers?
Had a new windscreen fitted and now the wiper in front of driver hits the plastic vertical trim on the side of the window!!!

Sounds to me like the fitter removed the wiper arms but didn't mark their original position, I think it'll need adjusting by removing the arm and positioning it correctly on the splined stud that it's bolted to.
