So can a MAF be faulty without any error codes - or obvious running issues?

Just wondering whether it is worth considering replacing whilst GSF have a 53% discount (WKD53) (although same price as ebay etc but at least I can take it back)

I have no error codes appearing and the car was working okay before going onto Axle Stands (I say okay about 200 g/s) I am doing the FMIC over the coming days (hopefully) so would consider this at the same time.

Thanks

MAF's usually go faulty without raising any direct codes with the MAF itself. They usually start to read low when failing. Make sure it's a Bosch or Pierburg item, There are loads of fakes around on Ebay so you never quite know what you are buying sometimes.

http://www.carparts4less.co.uk/cp4l...anagement/engine-management-sensor/?434440217 £80.66 if you use cp10less and you will get back £23 when you return your old item

same item in ECP with 55% discount works out at £91.40 and you get back £24 .

Be aware that a number of people have had issues with non-genuine MAFs so the usual advice is to avoid those from anywhere but a dealer or known good used part.
