Auto lights query!

Noticed this week that when driving to work my lights were on. Then have way to work they switched off. Then I went through a dark wooded area so they came on and stayed on even though it was quite bright at this time (8.30am). They have since been working fine this week but it's something that has been bugging me. So does anyone else notice their lights not going off when it's bright enough?

Was it raining? They come on if you have the wipers set to auto.

Also, once they do come on, they don't go off immediately it brightens up. Assume this is to stop them going on and off all the time - typical design of automatic systems (eg house thermostats)

There is a setting that can adjust how sensitive they are, if you feel they are coming on too soon.

In the mmi under the comb menu - automatic lights, the options are early, medium and late I believe. Mines set to late but with rear drl active.
