Hi all,

A few days ago I did a service, oil, plugs and today I got an engine light on and the codes came back:

16998 - misfire
17912 - air intake leak detected
17967 - throttle valve
17987 - throttle actuator

Any ideas guys? I cleared the faults and so far the light has stayed out but I'm guessing it'll be back.

17912, probably a split pcv hose somewhere.
17967, an educated guess says a dirty throttle body
17987, connected to previous fault
16998, related to first fault, air leaks mess with the fuelling resulting in misfires.

I know this is not the same engine as yours but the problem is related to the direct injection, have a look, this can cause misfires as well.

Stripped the throttle body out today and yeah your right, pcv pipes perished. Thanks for the help.
