Dv noise

My car came with the fluttering dv noise indicating faulty. So changed it for a new standard one from TPS.

Now it makes no noise when I change gear.. is that normal?

Yep - buy an open air filter to replace the air box and you'll hear it again, minus fluttering.

Thanks for quick reply. Quite reassuring. Might go for the S2000 filter mod.Not sure yet as I've grown out of the max power loud exhaust phase. Plus this is the other half car not mine.

Thats what I had on mine - S2k filter - sounds really good!

if it is sound you want the S2000 paper filter is better sounding than the S2000 Cosworth fabric filter and at £13 you cant go wrong - must be good for 250BHP as that's what S2000's are
