I have a A3 tdi 170 bmn with glow plug fault.
Now when its scanned the same fault code shows for all 4 glow plugs.
Mechanic said loom, that was changed made no difference as 2 days later EML came on again. All glows plugs were changed, the light was reset 2 days later EML back on. Then I found something called glow plug control module so that was replaced. Yet again a few days later EML back on..
Honestly a bit stumped as is the mechanic which ill add is a Vw/Audi specialist and works almost exclusively on VAG..
So basically for the last 10 months the EML has been permanently on, which the only issue with that is if something else goes wrong I wouldn't know.
Anything we've missed with glow plugs? Or any suggestions...
