Hi all, first post here. I've had a look through what I can find about the temperature gauge having issues but can't really find anything that is the same as mine, so hoping someone can help.
I have a 2008 A4 (B8) 3.0 tdi Quattro. The temperature gauge on the dash isn't working, or hardly at all.
When driving normally, in generally won't move. It may nudge just a little upwards, but it is just a fraction. When I'm stationary with the engine running it will rise a little more.
Is this likely to be the thermostat or temp sensor? And is there a way of testing which?
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks everyone.
