Can anyone provide some advice on how to lower the height of the bonnet on an Audi A3 otherwise this is correctly aligned. The only advice I can find are regarding rubber buffers under the bonnet and screws further down. However I would like to avoid removing the front bumper.

Thanks.

It maybe the bumper is too low, in which case youcan lift it up. Are the bonnet edges the same level as the wings?

Take it you need to take the bumper off to adjust it?

is that possible?! i've been trying to do that for ages!!
when taking the bumper off, how do you lift it?

That is for if the bumper needs to move up. Quite a big job.

It' s not a big job, just fiddly and requires patience. Did this on my old s4. By the looks of it A3 bumpers are very similar and you can't get to the adjusters with the headlights insitu.
Took bumper of and removed headlights, fit bumper and adjusted the height and glued the thread so it does de-adjust again, removed bumper again. Finally, fitheadlights and fit bumper. Stand back and admire a narrow gap, hopefully.
