Chrome exhaust tips on S-Line???

My twin chrome exhaust tips look like they have been dipped in tar and left in the saharan sun for a few months.

Tried to clean them off and it made a difference....they look worse! Now they have a speckled half chrome / half soot appearance.

Are there any after market chrome slip-ons you could recommend?
