On the S3, it's been proven time and time again, the H&R springs are more compliant around town, where the Eibachs are harsh(er).
It's also my belief that the H&R springs tighten up more under high compression, compared to the Eibachs...so win-win.
I hate people giving bad information...
On the S3 the H&Rs are brilliant.
