Hi i'm looking for a recommended Audi garage near Swansea or Carmarthen that doesnt charge main dealer prices?

There's not many down South Wales. I'm from Bridgend and looking to get my A3 serviced July/Aug. Iv looked about but there's only small local garages. All have good and bad reviews so it's hard to make a decision. Don't really want to spend £370 on a major service and brake fluid change at Bridgend Audi.

I used to take my Golf to Welsh Vw in Barry. It's a good garage but a bit of a travel. I'm going to ring them for a quote for a major service.

Why don't you supply your own genuine parts and pay an ordinary garage to fit them?

For example 5L of Quantum LL3 5W30 is less than £25 from any VAG dealer, the genuine oil filter, again from a dealer isn't dear at around £5-6.

Heck, any service parts aren't dear. I don't know why people cry over £3/4 a difference between the bottom-of-the-range filters compared to an OE equiv from a motor factor (Mann, Mahle etc) or dealer-bought item.

The service parts for my 1.9 A3 (from a VW main dealer) came in well below £75, oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter and fuel filter.

Yeah got no probs getting it serviced,i'm just looking for an Audi specialist down West Wales way that you can speak to and call in for advice, thats not main dealer prices and main dealer attitude who want to pull your shorts round your ankles and shaft you?!

I know it's further east than you wanted but when my A4 was younger and I could justify the cost I used these guys a fair bit, Euro Performance in Pontyclun.

The place was always full of VW's, Audis and BMWs and they seemed to know their stuff.
They only used Genuine parts from TPS and I never had any issues with any of the work they did.
I haven't used them for about 4 years as the last time I needed a big job doing (a clutch) their hourly rate (IIRC it was about £60 ph then ) made it more cost effective to get the OEM parts myself and pay local garage to fit them.

That's not far from me so I will give them a go. Cheers for the recommendation.
