My car has been into Audi for the well documented oil comsumption test and failed. Audi are covering the cost but they are saying that they won't be changing the cam chain tensioner or cam chain adjuster, both of which are prone to issues/failure and have been replaced with modified parts. I spoke to the parts department at the dealership to get prices as I want to get them changed and they will be removed anyway during the rebuild so I should only have to pay the cost of the parts. The guy didn't have a clue, he said that it has 2 tensioners and no adjuster???
