Fault code p1555

Ive had a diagnostics at my mates garage today and its came up the codes:

P1555 - boost pressure max exceeded
p1455 - exhaust gas temp sensor 1

Ino what the exhaust sensor is and maybe this is caused because of the boost pressure problem but any ideas why the boost is like that and how can I get it done can anyone in the west midlands area do it cash waiting want it to be running right! Its still quick but ino theres something not quite right.

17963/P1555 - Boost Pressure Control: Upper Limit Exceeded

This code is due to an over boost issue... the ECU has detected the measured boost (via MAP sensor) is more than the requested boost and gone into limp mode (leaving you with no boost other than actuator pressure)

17863/P1455 - Exhaust Gas Temp Sensor 1 (G235): Implausible Signal

This code pops up when the EGT sensor electronics is goosed... typically requires replacement to fix... electronics is bolted under the inlet manifold, EGT probe is in the hotside of the turbo

Excessive fuel consumption can result from a faulty EGT sensor and if not fixed can also lead to bore wash from excessive fuelling and accelerated engine wear

EGT is part of the protection strategy and will enrichen fuel mixture to cool cylinders down
