B7 Help with RS4

Am in need of some help and advice please guys, just got my first RS4 which is an 06 plate Cabriolet. Got a few problems to get sorted if you can help.
Got a knocking from the offside front corner when going over bombs or rough ground, had it checked at local garage but they can't find anything, are they prone for anything.
Also want to change the front shocks, is this a diy job or do you need any special tools and last question. Are they available aftermarket or only dealer part only, many thanks in advance and sorry it goes on a bit

Knocking could be arms, roll bar etc. Common. The struts should have drc so will need recharging I suspect not many places have this. Take it to a specialist and get them to have a look

I have KW V3 Coilovers and they are superb.

Look at the rear shocks, when my DRC went sounded like the front but it was in fact the rear shock had gone, also note the DRC system works in a diagonal pattern so F/NS with be connected to the OS/R.

But if it not that then Control Arms
