A6 Avant Sat Nav stopped working

Hi,

I have a 2012 A6 Avant SE with 3G MMI, and the sat nav no longer displays my correct location, the last time I looked it had me in France!

It seems this is a common fault with the Avant and the shark fin antenna, and Audi quoted over £500 to diagnose and install a new one.

I have Googled and read a number of fixes with the cheap eBay pucks etc, but all seem related to the earlier models.

I'd be happy to buy a genuine antenna and get it painted and fitted if it's easy enough, but can't find any information or after market suppliers or services.
