I've had my 8p for about 18 months now and during that time I've covered about 30,000 miles. I have always had the footwell lights set to about 40 and twice in 18 months I have noticed them go off; come back on to 100% and then back to my preset 40% within a second. I always intended to investigate this but forgot as it happened so rarely. However, the other night on my drive home ( 1.5 hours 90% motorway, cruising at 70) the footwell lights flashed 7 times throughout my journey, which got to be was very distracting! There didn't seem to be any pattern as to when it happened, i.e not regular and time related, no pot holes etc.
I have seen a number of threads regarding aftermarket LEDs to cause the footwell lights to flicker or flash but I don't think this is relevant to my issue since mine are standard. Full scan with VCDS has reported no issues.
Just wondered if anyone has come across anything like this before?
