A3 8P Headlight Problem (both sides not working)

I am new to the site and would welcome any advise and help on this issue.

Yesterday evening I noticed the main headlights don’t light up. The indicator lights, dip lights and even the main beam lights all work. Its just the main headlights (both left and right) don't come on at all (either on the auto or the on light setting).

I have checked the fuses and there fine, and tried replacing a bulb with a spare but it still does not work.

Any suggestions/advise would be very welcome.

when you say you have checked the fuses there is a fuse for dip and a fuse for main (both sides, so 4 fuses) cant see it being a stalk as the MB shows on the cluster, have you got VCDS? check meas blocks to see if a signal is being sent to the MB bulbs

Thanks to all who responded.

Well due to a time limitation I got a Garage to look at it. In the end it was just a worn wire harness that needed abit of attention located under the air filtor box. I was just glad it was not anything more seriouse.
