What have you done to your Audi A4 B7 today?

Or let me look after it , i'll make sure it get's a good run every week and plenty of tlc.:whistle2::icon thumright:

Finally managed to get the old wagon scanned today... turns out my intermittently illuminating ABS light is just a faulty rear ABS sensor. Also through up implausible signal from the clutch switch. Both on order and will be fitted shortly.

So my exhaust tips arrived the other day after some help from @Just Rob. providing me with the relevant info for purchasing. Any hoo, nice easy job to fit, just took a little adjusting on the second tip as the oem ones sat uneven. Look loads better in my opinion, the correct size and shape/design to look oem yet a little more special at the same time. Even the exhaust came off easier than i expected for an old bus.

Looks excellent Alex, glad you're happy with them, so much better than the oem ones.
They are a bit more expensive than other tips but the quality is first rate and the seller provided a very good service.

Yep, very happy and spot on quality

Looks much better Alex did you say they was 89mm tips? And what inner size did you go for?

They are 89mm exit with a 60 and 50mm od reducer, the pipe exiting the stock bach boxes are 50mm so i straight but up joint and weld.
Ok thank you mate think I've found some i like but my exhaust guy is full booked for the next 3 weeks ahhh i just want some noise now lol I'm caught in two minds to go 89mm or 101mm tip.

Personally i think the 100mm tips are a little excessive, although they would sit in the rear valence. Fitment is a huge aspect too, ive got my fitment spot on for my liking.

I could pm you some more detailed pics for 90mm reference if your looking for some more inspiration

100mm per pipe is a bit large , I have quad tips now but each outlet is still only 89mm and they just fit in the s4 valance.

Yeah if you could do that would be great, I've seen a few with the 4” and when they look awesome but only if they have been fitted flush but yours looks really good so its out me in two minds now...

They sit in a bit to much for me Rob i like them so there flush and fit like there part of the rear splitter as much as possible.

Could be the lighting maybe who knows! Due to the shape of the valence and the straight edge of the tips i went for a 50/50 fitment when looking from above, half is visible the other half is beneath the valence.

Too far in makes them look naff and smaller and defeats the object of having nice shiny bits. Too far out however makes you look like you packing some heavy chav cannon artillery!

Painted my grill surround and audi badge, colour matched in phantom black.
Cost about £20 in paint which wasnt bad at all.

Next up if I'm feeling brave is the window surrounds.

I had a custom exhaust made for mine and the happy medium due to the shape of the valance was slash cut tips offset at a 45° angle so the shortest part sits by the narrowest part of the valance.

I would post a pic to show you but I'm embarrassed at how dirty they are so maybe another day!

Gave my old bus (and my S3) a well overdue clean. Scrubs up well for its age.

One of the S3 for the sake of it.

I love my 100mm tips... personal preference though.

Nearly all the other sections have one of these threads and I can't find one on our section so thought I'd start us off.

Over the last few days I've done

New gear knob
New dv
New pcv valve
New pcv gasket
New n80
Cleaned TB and new gasket
New rear brakes
Painted all brake calipers and dust guards.
New pollen filter.

This is a couple weeks back which I've done that. All this in 12 hours of hard work. Removed all 4 calipers, wire brushed hard, detach front calipers in 3 sections. And a much patience and pleasure! With new brembo disc and pads + vented plates for cooling the discs.
