Hi guys, pretty new to the forum as I only got my A3 in December, will be using this thread to share my modifications with you all.
Done a few bits so far, started with some subtle changes which were the Xenon effect HID headlight bulbs, LED sidelights and LED number plate lights. Unfortunately I don't have any pictures of the HID bulbs but they match the sidelights perfectly!
I've also used the FlyEyes tints to tint my front headlights, I personally think they look amazing, better light output than tinting film and a bit more subtle, I'll try and get some pictures of them over the next few days!
After this I decided I needed to put the headunit out of my old car into my A3, my A3 has the Bose system so it requires a different harness to the standard system, I couldn't find the correct harness anywhere and in the end I asked at Halfords if they had one that would fit the bose system, which they did and it's the PC9-408 - http://www.halfords.com/technology/...adaptor-pc9-408-audi-porsche-bose-to-speakers < in case anyone else needs it!
I then started looking at the performance side of things and ordered a cold air intake, I went for the Ramair oversize one, http://ramair-filters.co.uk/vag-js-...ntake-induction-air-filter-hard-pipe-kit.html , sounds a lot better so far and will hopefully make a difference when the car is remapped!
The car is currently booked in for a Stage 1 Remap at R-Tech next friday, can't wait! Will be sure to post the gains I get and how it went!
All feedback and suggestions are welcome!
