Brake lights always on

So my car went for a mot last week and they disconnected the battery to fit my cat and since then as soon as I turn the key the brake lights stay on any ideas before I phone the garage thanks

Brake pedal switch failure, very common. Only about £10 & easy to fit.

Cool I'll order one bit of a coincidence happened after came back from the garage

As I said it's a very common failure. Be prepared for the clutch pedal switch to fail soon too, both of mine went within 2 months of each other.

Are they both the same switch

Can't remember, but IIRC they're different.

hello my brake light light switch failed, recommendation buy a oem one and remember when stting you olny get one chance so check on the forum how to to it, mine is auto so no problem with the clutch pedal cheers from Colin
