Removal and Re-fit of Phone cradle

Hi all,

I'm new here so hoping someone can help. I just purchased an A4 B8 Avant Black Edition. I love it, apart from one little part... the phone cradle under the arm rest. Its entirely useless to me and just annoys me that i can't just the space for something else. If i put my phone in it, it bashes around and hits the plastic spikes...

Anyway,
I'd like to remove the cradle, and fit a flat plastic area over the top. I'm hoping someone has done this already (i have searched, but found nothing).
If so, can they provide the audi part no's too?

Would appreciate pictures if possible.

PS. Don't wanna take it to a dealer i like to do things myself.

Welcome, lukus the storage tray inserts work really well. Cost very little via ebay from China. Everyones been happy with them. They work and fit really well.
