fuel pump

I have been chasing a humming noise for 2days I can only hear in the car with the engine running and just found it to be the fuel pump.
At first I thought it was my over run pump under the bonnet but this is not working for sum funny reason it usally stays on for 5min after I turn off hmm. odd ay...

Anyway folks am goin to grab fuel filter and put it on the s3 and hope my humm goes away lol.. Anybody had the same problem on here?? Did a filter sort it ???

doubt the filter will help, there is a guide on here for pump renewal though

No it never mate I thought ad give it a shot. The pump has most probably never been changed so its done over 150k I've had a look at the guides and it don't look to much of a bad job.

I don't like the sound of live wires in fuel tanks tho lol
