Hi all,

Just signed up to gather as much info on a S3 8l as this could be my next car

It's difficult for me as I'm having to get a more practical car and although I don't want to,I will have to in the next few months and I'm struggling to find something in my price range of £3k-£5k. that has a bit of performance and rarity.

This is what I drive at present,please don't crucify me too much for my sins...

I'm trying very hard to come to terms with parting from my 'baby' and hoping the S3 guys may be able to convince me!

Welcome to the forum, lovely dog and car....!
For that budget, you could get a nice A3 3.2, in either 3 door or Sportback 5 door, with decent miles.
You could also enter the realms of 8P A3 and have a more modern shape.

(Not that I am in any way biased)......

Really fighting the demons in my head over having to part with my 'baby'

It's partly due to my lovely dog (and parents) getting old and arthritic that I have to look for a 3dr hatch.

I am struggling to come to terms with the change (how sad is that!) but at least a fast A3/S3 looks to have grabbed some of my attention.

Just need to get you guys to convince me
