Hi all,

I originally was going to replace my EGR, since it's got an error in the system, but I've seen a lot of threads saying it's best to delete it, by adding blank plates, removing the vacuum pipe or getting a kit.

I just want to know if the vacuum pipe is the pipe on the right since I can't seem to find a blanking plate for this engine and I haven’t found a thread with this type of valve.

Hi man,
Did you find a solution for this in those 4years? :D

Hi,

Well, kind of, I ended up replacing the EGR completely . I think the whole deleting the EGR thing is for the diesel engines which is probably why I couldn't find anything.

The original EGR had errors but the car ran fine, then I replaced it with one I bought off of ebay and it was terrible . So eventually I had it replaced again but with a genuine part and that solved my problem.

Wow, thanks, both of you.
I will try to remove the gear, and if I ride without it before i find someone to code it out,
will it go to limp mode?
Also by finding the error code, will i findy my way to code it out, if im doing it alone?
I am not that good with hands or english sorry :D
