Vcds beep with lock + unlock

Hi all I have just coded my car to beep when alarm is set but I'm looking to set when lock and unlock but can't seem to find how to do it

Does your alarm work as it sounds to me like you have set it already with the setting you have done.

Yeah my alarm works when set the alarm but can't find coding so it bleeps when unlocked and locked

From what i remember the setting is in the same section for all the bleeps.
What i don't understand is the bit you say "just coded my car to beep when alarm is set" as that is when you lock/unlock ???.

Selected module 46 +01024 = Confirmation Anti-Theft Warning Sytem Horn Activation

I meant how do you set the alarm not how you did the coding.

Just click the button on the key 2 times

The alarm is only meant to beep when locking the car, not unlocking it. That way you know you've locked it without checking.

Ok thank you for the reply I fort there was coding for locking and unlocking

1 Click should lock 2 is dead-lock (with no alarm i think).
Test the alarm by sitting in the car and locking it 1 press on the fob then after 30 seconds move about to set it off.

My car bleeps on both lock and unlock.

I tried that yesterday clicked the key 2 times waited 30 seconds jumped around alarm went off

Maybe the A6 has a different alarm to the A4 then?

I've only known the A4 to beep on locking, and it's a camp beep at that ha ha.

Adding 01024 to my number is get 07935. Yeah I get a bleep when the alarm is set that's it
