Hi guys just joined the forum but trawled through here many times in the past 
I'm having a problem with a 8l A3, the speedo isn't working properly, and causing the immoboliser to kick in so car dosen't start. The abs glow plug light ect work but the mileage display and the gauges don't work.
I am thinking about getting a used cluster and swapping it over but I understand this will need coding,
Where can i get this done and how much can i expect to pay?
Also would it be possible to avoid the coding requirement if i grabbed other parts from the donor car for the speedo , if so what bits will i need? ECU? Immoboliser ships?
