Audi A3 8L 1.6 Gearbox & Clutch

Hello Everyone,

I am in need of a Gearbox & Clutch for my Audi A3 8l 1999 1.6L
Any tips on where is the best place to get these parts. Obviously clutch isn't hard to locate, however I don't have any idea where to locate a decent gearbox...

It is the Diff that has gone in the gearbox, but have been advised changing the whole box is the more ideal scenario.

I have started looking at the 1.6 VW mk4 Golf boxes is this a viable option?

Thanks for the response. I ordered a 'Reconditioned' with 1 year warranty box from 24/7 Spares last Monday. It still hasn't arrived...
I'm now assuming it isn't going to and have started to source another from a more reputable supplier...Or attempting to.
Just feel like im getting my pants pulled down every turn here, Don't even know if I need a full box as just the diff went. but oh well.
