Fuel injection pump line up

Hi can someone please help me get my car started, ive recently ghange some of the lifters on one of the heads on my audi a 6 c5 ake engine, I've put everything back together but it wouldn't start, I'm pretty shure the cambelt went back the way it was but i think the injection pump have turned a little bit while i was working and i think that's why it doesn't start, i'm not a mechanic but i realy think i can do this ( with a little help) thanks

Did you lock of the flywheel and pump position?
The pump setting is really fiddly.
Set the pointer mid position and it should start then you need VCDS to do the dynamic timing.
I ended up with a jewelers screw driven as a really fine pry to get the dynamic set.

Thanks, i found a used timing tool kit on ebay and I should give it a try this weekend
