Emmisions light

Started car this morning and emmisions light came on. Car sounded a bit rough on idle and jerking when moving off. Once driving there was no loss of power and car was running smoothly once warmed up. Have booked to get it looked at. Any ideas is it ok to drive still car is 1.8 tfsi

Booked in with audi monday. From reading forums looks like the symptoms are similar to timing chain tensioner

Fault showed up as intake manifold flap motor.

yep, I have a warranty so the part will be covered and they will pay some of the labour cost, so its not all to bad, at least its not the timing chain

Can't you just remove the motor and flaps and have it mapped out?
