RNS-E advice please!

Hello Audi sporters!

I'm looking to get RNS-E the one with the media button for my Audi A3 8p 2003.
I already have the double din console on its way with buttons etc.

First off, which RNS-E unit number do I need?
What wiring harness do I need?
And is there anything else I need to complete the retrofit?

I assume you want AMI so you need AMI otherwise why put it in
likely a new can gateway to support mp3/AMI
new map disk
likley satellite antenna but don't know what your current setup is

keys to pull and place new unit
vcds cable to code

best option is to have one of the radio gurus on the site just do it for you and purchase the system through them. give nigel a shout NHN

If I wasn't going to do ami would I still need a new can gateway?

I already have keys and vcds so that's good.

The 193 code is there any better letter after it or the lower down in the alphabet the better eg. F,g,h?

G is the usual one, but I think there's an H with SDS.

I have the wiring harness kit you need if you want it a bit cheaper than ebay? I bought it for a retrofit on my 2008 S3, but apparently after 2007 all the cars come with the Quadlock system, so the adapter isn't required. I'll PM you, so as to not break any rules
