Hi all

I know you are a great bunch on here so hoping you can help

I joined the Seat forum a couple of weeks ago & posted this & no one has responded so thought this was the place to put it

Its a bit long winded but please if you can put any pointers on it i would be appreciated

Cheers

Hi everyone

My Daughter recently purchased a white FR TDI 170 from a garage. All seemed reasonably ok
85000 miles 2010
full lease car history
mot 2 days old
tidy with nav & half red/black seats
we collected the car and on collection the nav sd card was faulty . No problem just get one & i will reimburse said the dealer

Got home to plug in the VAG. There was a few issues which cleared but one main one was air compressor too low. My friend suggested a regas & offered to do it at his garage.
The next day the coil light came on.
Out with the Vag again. Maf sensor signal low.
Then it went off
Then on again until the EML stayed on.
Meanwhile a regas showed all holding but no compressor.
I advised the dealer i was taking it to awesome for a full check & service

Faults found

Rear spring broken (MOT fail)
Rear tyre on wrong way round (MOT Fail)
Tracking out so tyres rubbing
Maf sensor fault (car still pulls like a train)
Aircon compressor broken
Aircon pressure switch faulty

So we take it back to the dealer who isnt happy

He has had it 2 weeks & to be fair he has repaired everything apart from the nav

New compressor & switch
New Maf sensor (receipts shown & i know its new as i put a mark on the old one)
New springs x 2

Anyway whilst i witter on we have collected the car & all was ok until we have restarted the car & the maf fault is back

The car still pulls like mad & its a new maf. I have been told it could even be a brake light switch ?

Is this a wifes tale or do i need to be looking elsewhere

Thanks for reading & hopefully someone can make my Daughter a happy bunny again
