What oil temp?

I've now got oil temp in my DIS, what temp is it ok to start applying the power?

Optimum running temperature is around 85degress so wouldn't be horsing the life out of it until around then.

I see temps of 115c on the motorway.

Interestign question, my RS4 limits revs until oil is at full operating temprature. When cold/warm the car self limits to 6000rpm, once hot enough you get the full 8500rpm.

My M3 and C63 did the same thing.

Does this not happen on other models?

Also, how did you enable the temprature display?

As far as I can remember if you enable the lap timer, you will get the oil temp also.

Enable Lap Timer

[17 - Instruments] [Coding - 07] -> Long Coding Helper -> Byte 1
Bit 3 - Check the box for "Lap Timer active"

I already have lap timer as its standard on the RS4, I'll check for oil temp.

The rev limiter isn't there on any of the models except the RS4.
I got the oil temp and Lao timer on with the Carista APP and a £15 dongle
